A History of Our Innovation ——>

1973
Rochem begins establishing a global footprint, developing a complete line of chemicals to treat ocean-going ships, and securing distribution in 55 main ports.
1978
We develop and launch the FYREWASH® system, a specialized solution to clean gas turbine compressors while in operation.
1982
Rochem (RO membranes) pioneers reverse osmosis by commercializing promising technology developed by a German research group.
1988
Rochem BIOCARE® takes over distribution of a complex medical products business in Puerto Rico; the network expands to 7 major countries in Latin America.
1989
We launch our first proprietary reverse osmosis product (Disc Tube Module), used to begin purifying landfill leachate. Rochem Group later sells off the majority of its chemical business.
1997
Rochem AEROMEMBRANES® launches ultrafiltration technology, expanding filtration capabilities and allowing us to purify black and grey water.
2012
Rochem AEROMEMBRANES® introduces the high-flow PF module; the unique design allows purification of sea water up to 20 SDI with no pretreatment and minimal maintenance.
Today (2023)
Our modular RO, ultrafiltration, and nanofiltration systems are used worldwide for desalination, landfill leachate, and toxic wastewater.
