A major US landfill was producing 70,000–85,000 gallons of challenging leachate per day, while its aging treatment system could only handle 25,000 gallons.
As disposal outlets tightened and regulatory pressure increased, the site implemented a Rochem engineered reverse osmosis system designed for high-strength landfill leachate. Today, the facility treats the majority of their leachate on-site, reducing hauling while delivering stable, high-recovery treatment.
